The Edinburgh Culture Crawl, organised by cancer support charity Maggie’s, is back for its forth year allowing the city’s residents to see their city in a new light whilst raising money for the charity.
Maggie’s is a free, practical and emotional support for people living with cancer. All of the money raised through Maggie’s Culture Crawl Edinburgh will help ensure the Centre continues to provide free, professional support to all those living with cancer who need it across the region.
The event is on Friday 21 September and sees walkers travelling 10 miles throughout the city, enjoying exclusive night time access to some of our best loved treasures: Dynamic Earth, the Biscuit Factory, the Scottish Poetry Library to name a few. Those taking part will also enjoy a whole host of entertainment throughout the night and enjoy a hot-chocolate and pizza at Summer Hall
Andy Anderson, Centre Head of Maggie’s Edinburgh, said “Discovering our city as the sun sets and taking in its sights and cultural gems is quickly becoming a calendar highlight. As a charity, Maggie’s Edinburgh relies on donations to continue to develop our unique, high quality programme of support. I really hope the local community gets behind this event to help us support as many people living with cancer, as well as their family and friends, across Scotland.”
